An instant pick-me-upper – the only thing I hate about it is that I could never finish it all by myself. I guess it’s meant to be shared for an added dose of happiness.

Nian Gao - In honor of the Chinese New Year coming up. It’s fried sticky goodness! Better known as glutinous rice cakes. They’re made every new years for good luck since “nian gao” is a homonym for “high year”.

12: Happy Lemon

Trips to Happy Lemon remind me of my childhood. The happiness, the warmth, the overflowing amount of love… I particularly love their Cocoa with Rock Salt and Cheese.

When I told my mom about Happy Lemon, she gave me the answer I was looking for. Apparently, I love Swiss Miss back when I was a kid (I still do!). No wonder my senses bring me back to the good ol’ times - to be more specific, back when I was an only child! Hahaha.
