Book shops I literally grew up going in and out of bookstores - National Bookstore to be exact. Whenever we go out, it’s the first place I want to go to and whenever I step inside, it only means I have to step out of it with a book in hand. While most kids want toys, I preferred books. Funny, I used to like science books. Well, they’ve always been interesting - but come high school, I’ve grown to love novels and in college, poetry books. I particularly loved visiting CCHQ and Aeon Books in Katipunan, and eventually - Fully Booked. When I started working, my reading time was cut down but things didn’t change. I still am a big fan of book shops.
